I HATE the saying just be grateful.
From a young age hearing that made me feel gross. It's like being told I should just be grateful made feel bad for wanting more.
In this episode I'm doing way with just being grateful while still having a heart of thankfulness.
And as promised here is that yummie Mac and cheese dish I was raving about
2- BOXES SMALL ELBOW NOODLES
1- 4 CHEESE MEXICAN BLEND SHREDDED CHEESE
1- MOZZARELLA SHREDDED CHEESE
1- MONTERREY COLBY SHREDDED CHEESE
1- SHARP CHEDDAR SHREDDED CHEESE
1- MILD CHEDDAR SHREDDED CHEESE
1- SHREDDED PARMESAN CHEESE
1- BLOCK VELVEETA CHEESE (DICED)
1- PACK MUENSTER CHEESE (DICED)
1- CREAM CHEESE
1- MED CONTAINER SOUR CREAM
1- SMALL HALF AND HALF
1- SMALL TUB OF BUTTER(COUNTRY CROCK)
BOIL NOODLES IN LARGE POT (DRAIN AND RINSE)
IN LARGE MIXING BOWL COMBINE NOODLES, ALL CHEESES, SOUR CREAM AND HALF AND HALF....MIX WELL
THEN ADD THE RAW EGGS IN THE MIXTURE (I MIX WITH MY HANDS....YOU MAY HAVE TO GET YOUR HANDS DIRTY...:-)) ADD SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE
PUT IN LARGE BAKING DISH PREHEAT OVEN TO 400 AND BAKE 30 MINUTES COVERED WITH FOIL AND THEN UNCOVER AND CONTINUE BAKING FOR ANOTHER 30 MINUTES
YIELDS 2 LARGE 12QT BAKING PANS (DISPOSABLE)
I USUALLY MAKE THIS FOR LARGE GATHERINGS OR FOR HOLIDAYS WITH OUR FAMILIES, SO IF YOU ARE MAKING FOR A SMALL GROUP YOU MAY WANT TO HALF THE INGREDIENTS
