What to do when you feel like doing nothing

The past few weeks have been packed and honestly the last thing I've wanted to do was sit down and write. I for one want the content I send you to be something of value or at the very least entertaining for you to open up and read.

Have you ever felt like that?

Things are booming and suddenly you're in a funk or maybe you just don't feel like writing and creating like I did?

So what do you do when such feeling come up?

1. You go with it. If you don't feel like doing something in your business, simply don't do it. However much like working out and staying fit don't stay off the horse too long or it'll be harder and harder to get back on and that is something we don't want to do.

2. Take the time to evaluate where you are. Why are you feeling this way? I find that it's because what I'm doing isn't in alignment with what I truly want.

Typically when I take a step back, gather my thoughts, and what I actually want to be doing I'm able to pick back up and press on even more.

3. Don't be so hard on yourself. You may beat yourself up when this sort of thing happens because you know you need to be doing something. The key here is to know that this is your business and your life, you get to choose what you do on a day to day basis. If you feel like laying in bed eating cookie dough, then do it. Just make sure you keep yourself in check that you and know that your business isn't going to fall apart if you disappear for a few day....(*ahem* two week).

My point in all this is that starting a business is hard. So is working full time, taking care of yourself and those around you, heck simply being a women is hard.

If at all during your entrepreneurial journey you feel like you should just give up. I want you to take a few days and remind yourself that

There are people out there who need you.

There are people out there who want what you have to offer.

There are people waiting to hear what you have to say.

You are meant for great things! So take your time and get back to doing what you do best, just remember the world is waiting for you.
